What does Spending Behavior mean in the Monte Carlo input area?
We have a new feature in the Monte Carlo that let's you control the spending behavior of the program when it runs the Monte Carlo. If you click on the third tab of the Monte input folder you will see three spending options. The default assumption is that your client will spend cautiously, i.e., that your client will spend assuming they will earn exactly half of the expected return each year. The older version of the program assumed aggressive spending, i.e., that your client will spend assuming he'll earn precisely the expected returns in each future years. The third option is conservative spending which assumes your client will spend assuming a zero real return in all future years.
