Difficulty entering annuities
We are having difficulty inserting an annuity into our basic profile using ESPlannerPlus 2.8.3 R3. Entries in all other categories appear to be reflected in detailed reports but attempts to add an annuity for either my wife or myself simply shows as a column of zeroes at right hand side of detailed report under wife/husband retirement anuity listing. Your thoughts and suggestions please?

We'll check it out right away
I am trying to post an Indexed annuity into our ESPlanner 2.16.64 showing a 3% (est. inflation) that passes 100% to my wife at death. The annual income reports show the annuity declining while social security remains the same (indexed for inflation) over subsequent years. HELP!
John
Are you specifying an exogenous annuity (Pensions and Annuities folder) or converting some of your IRAs into annuities?

This annuity is actually indexed to the CPI - I couldn't find a way to give it that index valuation in the program. The annuity was purchased 2 years ago out of my IRA so it has already been in force for a couple of years and this money is not showing in my IRA Assets
CPI is whatever you say it is in ESPlanner, i.e., if you say that future inflation is 5%, that's the number ESPlanner uses for the CPI. If you then say that your annuity is 100% inflation indexed, then you get the right indexing and real payments remain constant from the annuity.
