Please simplify links to download updates

For those of us who use ESPlanner infrequently, it would be very helpful if we could click on the "UPDATES" tab and see clear directions on how to determine our current version of the main program and of the computation engine. (I know this comes from "Help/About", but others may not remember.) Currently there is no mention of the CE on this page and I never remember to check to see if mine is current.

Then, on the same "UPDATES" tab, list current versions of the program and CE. Each should have a check box or link to initiate a download.

I understand the CE download currently also updates the program. I am unclear if this is necessary or just the way it is. So it may be desirable to have 3 links/check boxes to download just 1 component or both.

Thanks for all your hard work on this software. It is awesome!

If I follow you, you suggest
(1) add text on the updates page on the main web site (www.esplanner.com) that explains how to see your version number(s)

(2) include a download link

RE (1), that's a good suggestion, we can do that

RE (2), we do have a link for the most recent update. Why would you want a previous version? Updates to the User Interface (UI) and Computation Engine (CE) are bundled into each kit. We now also increment the version of the UI ( I usually just add an "A" or "B" etc. if it is just a new CE and that is all) to indicate that there is a change.

I'm not asking for access to previous versions. At present, when I click the download link on the UPDATES tab page, I only get the UI download, not the CE bundled into the kit. To get the kit, I have to go to "My ESPlanner" and click the "Download ESPlanner" button. This download should be in the same place as the UI download IMHO.

There is no separate CE download. The updates always contain both components.
