Is there a way to not tax regular assets income. It appears all asset income must be taxed at the marginal rate or at 15%. All of my regular assets are in index funds so virtually all annual gains are unrealized except for dividends.
Some planning programs ask what percent of regular asset income will not be taxed until withdrawn. Then for the remaining income one can choose marginal tax or LTCG/div rates.
