A child's consumption can be included in the plan passed age 18, but you cannot adjust the percentage of the child's consumption after age 18. It would be nice to be able to phase out a child's consumption as they go through college and perhaps a year after college before going on their own.

I included my children's costs as consumption during the years I expect them to live at home, and as special expenses for years after I expect them to move out (College, and beyond).
That works pretty well for me.
