Custom - "Override actual year..." What does it do?
The Customize... screen has a field for "Override actual year and use the year..." What does this field do?
I've read the posts about setting the computer clock to "1/1/some year" and entering data "as of" that date in order to work with the full-year calculations that ESPlanner does. My questions are:
(1) Does setting the "Override actual year..." field to 2010 have the same effect as setting the computer clock to 1/1/2010?
(2) Would that also work for setting it to a past year, like 2008?
(3) Is this setting maintained on a profile-by-profile basis, or is it global to the entire program? (In other words, can I have one profile that calculates as if it were 2008, and another that calculates as if it were 2010?)
Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me on this.

Yes. When the program asks for the date, if the override is set, it returns the year set rather than the current system clock.

yes

No, it's a system wide setting. So, be careful you don't forget and leave it on.
Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know.
