I have not been able to effectively enter data into the real estate section. I am only allowed (as far as I can tell) to enter 1 or 2 years of data if I select "never" as year sold. "growing" simply copies the existing data (including year). Is this a known issue, am I doing something wrong, or do I possibly need to update?

It's a bug, we'll get it fixed shortly. You can work around it by setting the last year listed, which is as far as "never" will let you enter expenses/receipts.
