Adding the notation box on the front page of the PDF report was a brilliant idea since not all important user set variables are printed in the report. However, the notation feature would be so much better if 3 changes were made
1. Increase the size of the box 2x in the "Report Options" window.
2. Increase the maximum number of characters allowed to say 500
3. Allow all 256 ASCI characters to be displayed: $ % etc.

Alas, adding more than the 256 character limit changes it from a notation to a paragraph and makes it bleed into the next page. There was also a reason to keep out non-alpha numeric characters. Don't recall what it was.
In any event, it is something to think about for the next release. Too late to change for this one.
