The program won’t accept an interest-only mortgage loan. If try to enter one, on my primary residence or on my investment property: (1) I get a red-letter message: “Payments too small” and (2) there’s nowhere to enter the balloon payment or any kind of principal repayment. I am a new user, so maybe I am missing something.

Since posting this question, I have seen a solution proposed elsewhere. Aparently your program requires lines of credit or other interest-only mortgage loans to be entered in "special expenditures and receipts." While the cashflow effects of this will work out arithmetically, the workaround is far from satisfactory. There are two reasons. One: it leaves financial events mislableled. A primary purpose of the tool should be to categorize items so that they can be managed. That is what accounting was invented for. Two: the workaround completely ignores the liability created, so that your program will overstate my net worth and debt capacity at any point. To anyone with lines of credit, a common thing, this bug is serious. Do you plan to fix it? Thanks.
