locating my data base after download purchase
How do I find my database after initial download? I have no icon, did a file search w no results, any suggestions?

When you download the install file, the download appears in your downloads directory or wherever your machine puts downloads. What folder does it put other downloads into? If you download a file from a free gov website, for example, where does it put it?
After you find the install file that you download, you click it to begin the install process and the database is created at that point in the proper directory. It does this automatically. So normally you don't have to worry about where the database is.

You can locate the database that ESPlanner is using by opening ESPlanner and choose Help->Customize. The database location is listed at the bottom after the word source=
