Multiple Calcualtions
How about the ability to run 3 of the most common scenarios at one time?
For example, have the ability to put in the three most common scenarios people think of, 1. SS starts at 62 2. SS starts at my full retirement age
and 3. SS starts at 70.
Same thing with Wifes SS, Wife starts when I do, or if below full retirement age, Wife waits until her full retirement age.
And of course a take SS at 62 and payback later at full retirement age or 70.
Thanks for the program, looking forward to running more scenarios.

I guess I don't follow your suggestion. Do you want to have the program automatically set up those defaults or run from one profile and vary a single parameter?
My thought may have been partially due to the crashes I was having (fixed due to prompt tech support response, thanks). I was thinking that one of the things most people want to know is the effects of social security, and the three most common calculations would be the effect of early, regular retirement age and age 70 SS benefits, so rather than having to run these three paramaters one at a time, have the program do them all at once. Certainly not a requrement, and I may have been speaking because of a certain level of frustration due to the crashes I was having.
Another Thought I had was in the first page you see under assumptions, which looks sometthing like:
You age 54
Wife age 18
etc to put in your social security assumption,
such as
You SS at age 70
Wife SS at age 62

Mike,
One problem with running "all" the cases is displaying the data. I suppose we could generates 3 different sets of reports, that's not particularly difficult, a "small" matter of programming, but my guess is that you would want to see the results "side by side" on a single page so you could compare things immediately. Personally I think that's too much data all at once (consider the annual recommendations with 4 extra columns, etc or the social security report 3 times wider) and find it easier to dig up two (or three) reports and compare them, switching from one to the other as necessary. But thats just a personal thing with me and I don't claim to be speaking for "all" users. Technically it's also substantially more difficult.
I'm not saying we won't do it, just need to know more about what you're thinking about.
Best,
Dick Munroe
