New update release policy:

Effective immediately, ESPlanner is shifting to a managed software release policy. We will no longer put out small updates to the general public. Instead we will be putting out quarterly releases of ESPlanner. This will give us a bit more time for design and testing, and definitely a better and more predictable release process.

For individuals with specific problems for which work-arounds cannot be found, we will make beta versions of the next release available. There will be a process for being allowed access to beta copies. Once we have that more fully worked out, I'll let you know the details.

We may also have a small number of formal Beta testers who ride the bleeding edge. Contact us if you're interested in being part of whatever formal beta test process we come up with.

There will be some "small" releases in the next few days to clear up a couple of issues that Larry wants out of the way. After that, it's once a quarter. The first quarterly release is scheduled for 1-Nov-2008 and should be showing up every three months thereafter.

Best,

Dick Munroe
