Problem with Monte Carlo Asset Files
As a follow-up to my earlier post today ("Problem Making Copies Of A Profile") I am also unable to run the Monte Carlo planning method because none of the assets files are showing up. When I select Monte Carlo Planning Method, I get an error message ("The path specified for asset files failed to load. Please specify a new directory"). The computer I am using is a brand new laptop running Windows 7 Professional. The data directory is C:\Users\My User Name\Documents\My Esplanner\data. I've already clicked on the VERIFY ASSET DIRECTORY button ("Could not load assets! Check directory and try again"). And I've already clicked on the RESTORE button in the Monte Carlo window (no results and then ESPlanner is forced to shut down).

Just downloaded 2.19.81 and this seemd to solve the problem. Was it just me? or was this a known problem with 2.19.80?
I just installed 2.19.81 and I get the same error message. I had also received an error message about a problem with the required file conversion (which I failed to note down) when first opening the data file.
Your assets directory should be, by default, in the My ESPlanner/data directory (EXAMPLE C:\Documents\My ESPlanner\data) On the help->customize page you can change and or modify this location.
To fix your problem, just make sure the location specified is accurate and confirm with the VERIFY button.
When you get to the Monte carlo page and there are no assets listed, that could be this or it could be that the update to 2.19.x from 2.18 or earlier failed to set up the new assets tables. in that case, open a ticket and upload your database and I can re-run the update for you (or e-mail me and I will tell you the secret way to do it yourself).
