"Rollover Profile for 2012"
Every time I load a saved file from my family tree, I get the message that I can update the file for 2012, a "Rollover Profile". Only, I can't do anything in that box; I can't update using, or cancel it or even "X" out that box. I causes no problem with the operation of the program of the data I'm getting back. It closes when I close ESPlanner. Suggestions?

Since ESPlanner works on values from the current year forward, the rollover will delete special expenditures and receipts older than the current year and update the values of other table entries for the current year and the other values going forward. It will also change any Assumption values that are set to occur in a prior year to be set to the current year.
You can turn off rollover warnings under customize. You might give that a try? If you can open a support ticket with a screen shot showing the problem I will investigate.
I get a message like the one submitted by marczahn above. When we get to the dialog box that renders the choice Update to 2012 OR Cancel, everything stops working.
Try using rollover from the properties page (Right click the profile name)
if you still have trouble, please open a support ticket and upload the database so I can reproduce
I am using version 2.20.47.
I am getting this same exact condition described above for 2013. A Rollover Profile to 2013 dialog comes up that won't respond to anything I click on.
Per above suggestion, I right clicked and selected Properties on all my profiles, and then clicked on the Rollover Profile to 2013 button. It recognized the click, and responded with "No record to go to" on the top of the screen as if I clicked the Next button. The dialog box did not disappear and it comes back when I restart ESPlanner.
It seems the program works OK otherwise, but I don't know for sure.
I generated reports and still saw the Special Expenditure entries for 2012.
Any update on this problem?
Thanks.
Like others here, I found the dialog box to lock up ESPP version 2.20.47 -- I had to kill it with Windows Task Manager and then restart ESPP.
However, the workaround worked for me. I left the "Notification" unchecked in the Customize menu and used the right click "Rollover..." option. That worked and removed all Special entries prior to 2013.

I don't have any problems with data being rolled over to 2013 (automatic without any notifications) but I do notice that the "future dollars" column in the SPECIAL folder hasn't re-set. For example: When I originally set up the file in 2012, I entered a $10,000 special expenditure to occur in 2013. So $10,000 showed up in the "today's dollars" column and $10,300 showed up in the "future dollars" column (3% inflation). When I look at this same item today (2013), I see $10,000 in the "today's dollars" column (correct) and $10,300 in the "future dollars" column (incorrect). And this is the same with other years as well - the future dollar calculations are all one year off.

I also suffered from the lockup problem in version 2.20.47 and the work-around did not work for me.
I just installed the new release (2.21.14) and was able to rollover the profile. I'll have to double check all of the entries but at least I'm operational again.
