Taxes not considering spending. Why not?
In ESPlanner’s Main Report/Total Spending tab “Taxes” aren’t included. Why aren’t taxes considered an expenditure in the Total Spending spreadsheet?

For historical reasons it is included in the Regular Assets tab (don't ask me, I wasn't around when the decision was made). I'll see if I can get Larry to chime in.
