Help me understand why taxes are not shown on the total spending report?
You show all the other items excluded from consumption such as housing, special, funerals, retirement, life ins and Medicare.

Hi, This was just a matter of choice of classification. We thought that taxes were important enough to break out into their own category in presenting the regular asset balance sheet. Also taxes are less in one's control than is spending. best, Larry
