I know I'm a noobee, but I'm probably blind or stupid too. I thought I'd enter defined assets into a monte carlo portfolio. The instructions first say "on the first Monte Carlo page click "New". That's supposed to pop up the entry form. I sure don't see the word "new" on any button on that page.
Wish I could send a screen capture of what I'm looking at, but don't see how.

BTW, the example image in the xls calculate_relative_variance spreadsheet shows two buttons at the bottom of the Monte Carlo form to the left of the "To restore original settings, click Restore" that each say "+ New" and "X Delete".
Neither of these buttons exist on my Monte Carlo screen.
The UDA tool in ESPlanner is being updated ( looks like the instructions are not up to date). To create a user defined asset, use the tool on the web site. Click MY ESPLANNER (top, right) then find the assets tab
Using that tool, you can download assets defined there and inport them into ESPlanner
Unfortunately there's lots "not up to date". I've spent countless hours since buying the plus program and there is much either unexplained (anywhere including the manual or online or in the forums).
The online asset entry module doesn't work, so I've found it's frankly easier to create my own .xml asset files with data from Morningstar to import.
Good luck getting all the bugs out.
