Variance in Current Year Consumption Amount
I am puzzled as to why the amount changes for Current Amount Consumption in the Current Year Recommendations chart of the Main Report when changing only the Reserve Fund and Retirement Account numbers.
The first Basic Profile has no Reserve Fund and the resulting Main Report chart for Current-Year Recommendations shows two bars - one for Current Amount and one for Recommended Amount. The Current Amount of Consumption was, as an example, $30,000 and the Recommended Amount was $60,000.
Next, I copied that same Profile, gave it a new name, reduced the Retirement Account by $50,000, and created a Reserve Fund of $50,000. After doing that, the Main Report now shows that Current Consumption is zero and the Recommended Consumption is $30,000. Why does the current consumption become zero?
Thanks, WMHB
